Not in terms of what it is, but what it could be.  What would it look like?  What would it feel like?  What if church were a place where people wanted to be?

There is a movement happening within this generation.  A groaning for something more... something deeper. A groaning for a faith that gives something to believe in and live for.  We live in a time when words are almost insignificant, yet actions speak volumes.

What if church wasn’t just a place to go, but something we do?  Outbound. Unbound. Active. Human beings from completely different worlds, united by common purpose, experience and belief.

What if church was more of an “out of church” experience, to prove we believe what we say with out lives?  Then, perhaps, Sunday could be a day of rest, and reflection.

Salem United Methodist church is committed to doing more than just sitting in a building on Sunday.  We want to live our faith, show our love and and speak through actions.

What if we Rethink Church?  Not in terms of what it is, but what it could be.  And what if we can convince the world to do the same?
